Nice shooting mate the only complaint would be the light colour of the wood work

He needs to rub it down and stain it with walnut stain just lightly then true oil it

it will look a different rifle .

THAT'S A CHALLENGE BY THE WAY MATT :whistling:

OR HAVE YOU NO BOTTLE TO DO IT :tongue2::laugh:

Yes I'm with you on that one pal. It's a job I'm going to tackle when and if the weather takes a turn. The camera makes it look lighter but your right it is very pale.

One of my perms is a golf course, so never hit a golf ball, asked a mate, how long does it to take to play a round of golf. He says, about 3hrs, so with that in mind i arrive 3 hrs before dark, to let dust settle then follow them around. 2 1/2 hrs later, people were turning up to play the first few holes wtf

I kid you not....I have looked through my scope before now and thought "I wish I'd brought a bloody lamp coz I can barely see" and there have been people finishing off at way beyond dusk!!! These golfers must eat some bloody carrots!

You know full well I don't have the bottle pal hahahaha.....but I will give it a go.

My neighbour just sanded the thin layer of varnish and stain out and then just gave her 1 coat of tung apparently so hopefully it won't be too bad.

And I think your spot on with with the walnut stain. It could look quite nice when it's done???

If im going over with the dogs i aim for a 3pm start the morning die hards are finished and the afternoon golfers are still at work , if im shooting a 4am start them you just got the odd golfer and get a bit done before the dog walkers appear on the course
