As Nod says there is a entry hole on both sides of the box which does not show up on the picture.   The box is a Snappa Mouse Bait Box designed for the Snap-E trap so actually it was a spot on catch as the trap funnels them in to the trap.    Here is a better pic.

Just bought some of the rat bullet boxes, same layout. I'm not convinced they will be as effective as one with a straight through line of sight.

That one of the auto set ones when you just press the bar down and the bait holder is scented so you dont need any bait . A aldi  box ?.

No. it is a quick set but not prebaited.

Looks like one of Killgerms snappa boxes , they are a great box for traps ,,, choc spread or crunchy peanut butter.

No. you would need to make one or use a wire Cubby
Got some in New Zealand that work with a Fenn
