Your permission must be really bad Pablo as we can get 2-3 digs each time out without much travelling. There is a couple of different lads that dig around my area but we still get all we need, had 3 nice digs on sunday gone and we only tried the 3 places, started around 9 and finished for 2.30.I agree that the snares will do a lot of harm also the rifle men but 90% of the game we dig are let run for another day providing the farmer is in agreement and ino thats why we have the diging we have.

I know what you mean but I have OK permission .the were hotspots every season and I'd be leaving places be as got into February. Most I dug here in a day was 3 foxes in the winter and that was two earths but wasn't too difficult and plenty of time in the day. There's a big variety here say , types of earths. Ground. A lot of others at it too but I've done good enough and had more than anyone I know down here . then again , I don't know any terriermen , lol

A lad I know in NI says the place is hollow atm, he says they're struggling to get past the first earths they go to as there's that much stuff!

Don't know what part he's referring to but there's plenty about where I'm from also and in the areas we have our permissions. Haven't blanked this season at all. I've even got plenty of digging at walking distance from my house this season. Edited by THE GENERAL

Have lads travel to me from places I once thought was lifting with game but it's not the case, rifles and lads driving the land has f**ked it for them!!

Can walk to a few spots or 20/30 min drive and I'm into good numbers! Seems most Lads in the north gotta travel for there work, but in the south you can't go wrong..

You're one of the lucky ones TW! I'm in the North East, there's enough to get you by but nothing to guarantee good numbers throughout the season so got to travel a fair bit. I've been all over the place so far Wales, Scotland, Cumbria, Staffordshire etc. It's nice to dig in different company and in different surroundings though.

cant fault you RH shows your willing to do whatever it takes to give them the graft they need! I few times a season I get invites of friends it's a nice change and I always look forward to it..
