Its probably because germany is involved in the war against isis in middle east. Dont get involved and then allow people from there to migrate to your country. We aren't dependant on Middle Eastern oil, or we don't need to be. The US and Russia both can produce way more than Saudi Arabia. The problem is more that the Saudis and other Arab states have bought our politicians, look at the money they gave to the Clintons for example.
