You know when you think about it Ethan is one of the very FEW youngsters that is ever spoken about who is coming into the sport of shooting.......................now that is sad for the sport.

Great to see him taking to the TX mate.

No no no Walther LGV/LGU the best springer without a doubt.

Do you rate them in the same league as the tx / hw 77/97 group CC,

I was looking at one a little while bavk but dithered a bit to long and it was gone.

Would like your thoughts on the lgu especially

I have never owned the LGU but have had the LGV, let me just say this, I have owned and used just about every top noch spring rifle out there, out of the box my LGV was without a doubt the smoothest, quietest, pcp accurate spring rifle I have ever shot, and I am including some tuned rifles from some well respected tuners, the lock time is something else,it is so quick that you have to remember to follow through properly, the trigger lets it down a bit as it is not as good as the rekord unit,it is good but has a very long first stage, and is very slightly creepy, however Rowan engineering do a trigger kit for it,which by all accounts transforms it, the only reason I sold mine was the weight,I spend a lot of time carrying a Weatherby .243 with a huge PES moderator round,so carrying an air rifle that weighs the same was a bit of a drag, so I now have a nice light Brocock pcp, but yes if you dont object to the weight, an LGV/LGU will not disappoint, try one you will be very impressed, all I will say is a strip and re lube is a good idea,as I did with mine, the quality of the internal components is superb.

I handled the lgu a couple of weeks ago, a really lovely gun, but even heavier than the 97 & just didn't feel right for me personally. Opted for the 97k instead. The tx felt better than both, but AA's are silly money here unfortunately :-(
