Just wondering....... Does anyone actually change how they drive when the car infront has one of those yellow signs stuck on the back window stating "child/grandchild on board"?

Matt

I spent 1 sunday ferreting all day mainly brambles.

Next day in work my hands were covered in red cut lines.

A woman asked me whats happened to your hands.to which i replied.

I was out ferreting yesterday.

She said.

Well what do you do with all the ferrets you catch lol.

don`t have a problem with no win/no fee cases, but what should happen is the judge should have the option to rule that someone is a scamming twat chancing their arm and they and their blood sucking leech lawyer should pay every penny of the costs of the case out of their own pocket, goes for general liability cases and motoring claims

My old next door neighbours used to get a job and within a week have a slip trip or fall. That was mother father and 3 lads. All same. I have never not had a job of sorts from 12 yr old and probably had worked more than that whole family put together and they had same house as me and better cars!!!!

One of the main reasons I now have a huge mortgage...to get my kids away from thinking that is an option.

When I left school, I worked for what was then the National Coal Board. During the initial two weeks induction training, half a day - half a day, mind - was given over to Safety Training.....

This consisted of little more than "these are sharp, these are hot and keep well away from that. Oh, and if you hurt yourself, don't come running to me !"

I actually once heard a newbie telling his deputy that he'd just fallen over. Without a hint of humour, he was told "Well look where you're f***ing going, lad !"

I started an apprenticeship at UK coal. We had 1 week underground safety training. Forst half a day was a talk and a dvd before going under. This dvd told you how safe it was and there were less injuries than in construction etc etc. At the end of the dvd Charlie, the trainer, said 'did you take that all in...because its bollocks and propaganda. If everyone in this room serves their full working life together as a group darn't pit 4 will probably die and half of you will be injured badly enough that you cant keep doing your role. But you will be offered a pay rise, a lump sum and another role to keep the stats looking good......any questions?' Most of the lads were squirming a bit I said 'what sort of pay rise we talkin charlie?' Broke the ice and that!

A while back, the good lady BB's step mum pursued a case against a hospital, which I shan't name, for negligence. I won't go into the details, but it was a rock solid negligence case....rock solid.

FOUR YEARS later, the case is settled....she receives her rightful compensation, and that's end of story, you would think.

The law firm then submits it's costs to the hospital, who are paid (by the hospital) almost £40,000 !! That's more than the compo !!

Normally drive closer so I can read them.

Better off having a sign saying "Kenneth Noye on board"
