Help On New Air Rifle

Recommended Posts

TX200hc with a walnut stock, in either calibre. It's solid, reliable, accurate, easy to work on and THE nicest looking rifle that money can buy

Of course, I am extremely biased :D

But, if I had to give up all of my rifles tomorrow, losing this one would upset me the most.

A decent used example will fit your budget nicely ;)

Dependant on the shooter Mac ;)

2 quality rifles but, the TX is made close to home

I thought I'd get a quick target pic up before Mark gets here with his pigeon drawings :D

I'm average at best Harry and, I managed this with a TX.

The T Rex 200 is one crap rifle. ( not)

I have the TX 200 HC mk 3 .177 version.

Since my pigeon drawings and targets are getting on JJ`s and Mac`s nerves, would a photo or two of one in action, ( er, herm, - including pigeons etc  ) be of any help Harry ?

Right Harry all the banter to one side

what are you looking for mate pcp or springer

for the wonga you have to spend ether pcp or spring will be in reach but in second hand format

pcp wise

ultra (up there with the best but low shot count)

webly raider,,,,,, cracking rifles deadly accurate and you could pick one up for around £250 to £300

and if your lucky you could get a bottle for the £100 you have left

AA,s410 for around £350 ,,,£400

AA s200

hw100,,,if you can push to another £100 that would give you £500 but you would have to look around to find one at that price BUT ITS THE BEST YOU COULD HAVE

springer

hw97 in any format

AA,,,tx200

AA,,,pro sport

three of the best money can buy imo

it all comes down to what you want and what you need it for

atvbmac

PS,,,,JJ THAT TARGET WAS BY LITTLE HUNTER AT 9YRS OLD WITH HIS ULTRA NOT MY 97 BY THE WAY :tongue2: :tongue2: :tongue2:

Ditto to Mac, Harry but the T Rex is the better rifle, off the shelf, "for me".

Try shouldering the three springer options Harry and choose one.

Pass your air rifle apprenticeship with a springer - you will never forget your marksmanship lessons.

Good luck with your choices Harry.

p.s. where abouts in Manchester are you ?
