Big numbers of geese arriving daily ...I don't know how many are here yet but they will peak to 80000-90000 by the end of Oct ....here's a vid taken from my back garden of a few thousand working the stubble sat the back of my house ...anyone seeing pinks further south yet ?

nice one mik. what a great sight it is. not seen them like that down where i live since i shot southport marsh . bet you dont get much sleep lol. regards peter.

You don't get a long lie at this time of year ..spoke to a goose guide this morning he said that over 20000 came in on Wednesday ...according to the counts

Big big numbers arriving daily I have never seen so much in the area as early as this in the season ....reports are they have had a bumper breeding season in Greenland ...so expecting record numbers this year

Bloody hell watching that gets me excited . I've only seen two skeins . Maybe 30 and a 40 ha ha . I love that sound .
