The Perfect Hunting Clothes

Recommended Posts

I have always bought Deerhunter everything, which lasts alright but for the money I would expect them to stay waterproof for a lot longer. My missus bought me a Ridgeline Fleece Jacket and some Trousers that are not so well made but have lasted longer so far, but are a bit sweaty!!! I haven't tried Harkilla because the last post on here didn't rate them. So I'd be interested to hear if there are any other makes on here that people recommend.

Personally I rate Harkila. Just bought one of their light jackets, the Jucun and I think I have finally found my perfect jacket. I've decided not to even look at any waterproof clothing unless it has Goretex stamped on it now. Had the Pro Hunter before but the sizing is too big for me. Not sure I'd be paying typical retail prices though!

Anybody tried the kiwi brand Stoney Creek?
