Could you not release the training one as a pdf file for download ? Linked to a PayPal account maybe

I'm almost a complete technophobe so I haven't a clue what that would entail.  :icon_redface:

I'm sure there would be a market for just such a download. Perhaps a donation to charity when downloaded? I too have no idea how that would work, but there must be an IT guru on here who can suggest a method.

be a shame if you dont get your next book published penny.  there must be someone interested in publishing it.

Trouble is, there just isn't enough demand. The lurcher market is tiny, comparatively speaking, if doing a book for the working lurcher, as opposed to the pet lurcher. And most of those who have rescue or pet lurchers are not at all interested in training their dogs for work in the field, as hunting dogs ... quite the opposite ... they would rather stop their dogs catching things.

Maybe, if I get a bit of money together, I could self-publish on demand, which does cost quite a bit, but done digitally, once the book is set up, each book ordered costs relatively little to print. It is the setting-up process that costs. Several thousand pounds. And if your total sales don't cover that initial cost, then it's not worth it. Whilst I would love to get a rearing and training book out there, I couldn't afford to invest that sort of money with insufficient return to even cover the cost.
