After failing to cure my mum's arthritis with a chocolate brownie I obtained some THC liquid stuff....maybe it was oil. I did the pest control in a laboratory where they made CBD but they also did all

☕

Nice bit of very soft stuff

When walking fifty hounds out you need to know all their names instantly, if I smoked then for 2-3 days my reactions would be noticeably slower in recalling them.

The best weed I ever smoked was in the mountains above Granda. We stopped with a family of troglodytes (cave dwellers). They grew it themselves. Hour long giggling fits then really pleasurable visions, really out of this world. I was going to bring some seeds back but bottled it at the airport.

I hardly even drink these days, wouldn't touch and drugs. I'm glad I did though and hope I can give the correct advice to my kids

I've lost two good friends to drink but never to weed and in all my time I've only known one lad have problems and he was nuts to start with.

Honestly my only real concern is kids taking it up, there's kids barely in their teens up and down the country puffing away all day every day and God knows what sort of effect it's having on their developing brains

Obviously any health concerns over cannabis pale into insignificance when compared to alcohol though and it's only real chronic use which is a concern whereas alcohol can always be dangerous if you're not careful...

Not had a spliff for 8 years or so . Smoked dope of one sort or another since I was 13 at one point was doing 1 ounce of green a week and was a lazy f****r I don't care what anyone says it definitely fucks with ya head

I'm on between a half ounce and an ounce a week at the moment and honestly really should cut down, doing anything to that sort of excess isn't good for you.

Still rather a heavy green habit to drink though in terms of damage to your body and mind.

That explains ALOT. I respect your honesty but I would seriously start some activities that distract you from smoking pot. I know many people who smoke similar amounts and it is never physically or mentally healthy.

I think the difference with alcohol is it's more difficult for a young person to develope a genuine drink problem, plus they have hangovers to contend with, a heavy night could but them off a certain drink for life.

I tried it one time I keep forgetting what we was talking about literally couldn't remember anything. Then I got hungry I went through the cupboard and all I could find was two dry pitta breads and a small pork pie so I put the pork pie between the pitta and made a sandwich . I think I may have been stoned .

Nothing wrong with it as long as you don't abuse it.. I know people who hit it hard and it has a profound effect on their life, relationships, work, etc. I also know people who use it and function perfectly normal. With regards to it causing mental issues, the type of people who unfortunately suffer are the type of people who have a high chance of suffering mental issues anyway. If it's not the weed that takes them through the door it could just as easily be some traumatic event in their life, stress or something else.

Slightly off topic but you mentioned work. I think it's a joke that lads can't take recreational drugs in their own time without being at risk of losing their jobs.

I'm in the same boat. Get random drugs tests at work, for cause drugs test if anything goes wrong on site, plus drugs tests for every new contract. And 6 monthly by the health and safety guy to top it off.

If I have a sniff on Saturday there is no way in a million years that it's gonna ever impact my work on a Monday. But I would lose my job because I would fail the test.

It really boils my piss. And I've never been a big drug taker.

Only thing I can think of it being a problem with is if someone has a massive drug problem and working with high value equipment or materials what's stopping them nicking it to fund their habbit? Therefore ensuring nobody is on drugs means nobody's addicted so the urge to nick from company to fund habit is reduced. I can honestly see no other reason for drug testing in the work place.

forget the brain mate, its the lungs they need to worry about deff. i used to do cigs, and the odd joint but in main cigs, i ve stopped 25 years now, but have had few prob in the past getting my breath if say walking fast up hill etc, went to the doctors few months back , and had tests with tubes to test my lung capacity . it showed they were down a bit, doctor said i had scarred my lungs rom my 15 years a smoker . well bloody hell ive stopped 25 years but the damage as been done, anything you inhale in your lungs apart from fresh air, a big no no , take it from me
