Things to do in Denver when your dead is a film that rearly gets a mention and yet I thought it was good, same as The Busines.
For TV, I think Dench and Connolly in "Mrs Brown" were gigantic performances from both actors.

Imho Gary Oldman is up there with the greats if not the greatest British actor ever......and he's a s :)outh London boy so he's OK by me !

I agree about Gary Oldman being one of the best recent British actors. But I would say that Tim Roth is up there also.

Rob Roy I find a very tedious film but worth watching solely for Roth's performance. The fencing match scene where he camps it up as an effeminate English fop who goes on to wipe the floor with the "clansman" is classic.

His best for me though was "Made in Britain". Made for TV I know. The court scene and walking free to the score of the Angelic Upstarts "Leave Me Alone". Not just because the Upstarts used to live just down the road from me, but....the Moggie 1000

My moderate obsession with Margot Robbie had me just watch Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. About war journalists in Afghanistan. Quite a decent film, bit different.

Few people were interested in the Punisher. Here's a decent teaser from Daredevil. A relatively non violent one. LOL
