Phoned the rfd and he told me to bring it in and he would send it off to be sorted .

 

But he did say that they had say,d the barrels were ok and that if any one had an issue with accuracy then to send them off but if not do not recall them

 

so i had a long think and have decided not to send it off

 

as stealthy has say,d if its not broken then why fix it and as for resale its not ever going to be sold as its more the bairns than mine

 

nothing wrong with the barrel on this mother

 

only 18yrds but she is just as good out to 30 40 50 yrds

 

3 mags each target and no moving of the zero in between pellet change

PS the two holes in the tin sheet right is the bis mags,,,,left is the jsb heavy's

 

thats 42 pellets in each target total 84 pellets

Well iv got to eat my words lads she was all over the place to night and missed 5 rabbits and i mean missed them

 

so re zero,d her she was on then off then on then off

 

the target looked like a shot gun had shot it all over the place then she would come back on then off again

 

so its going back tomorrow

 

i may even ask for a new rifle as its not that old and i dont want to wait 5 weeks for it back

Was ready that other air gun forum the other day and a bloke was posting about sending his back.

It was one of the first by the sounds of it but was away for a week and when he got it back the pellet fussy had gone and got good groups with many pellets

 

Heres fingers crossed its not away to long mate,,,,,,,,,

Mines been away two weeks on Monday so hopefully it'll be back soon!

They had a full on recall plan in place and had sent boxes to the rdf for return,

When I striped her down to take it back I banged the mod out and there were loads of lead fragments

5 weeks - Ouch. I thought they were quoting 3 weeks. You may get it back sooner, fingers crossed. HC & Weihrauch seem to be dealing with it well.

 

David, my 100 is around a year old and it's fine. I think the problem is just the batch of barrels that they made ready for the release of the 110s.

pretty sure he said the first of the dodgy ones went out just before christmas!

if yours will shoot a variety of pellets accurately I'm pretty sure it'll be ok!

mine would only group with aa field and rws superfiels in 4.50

Is it only .177 barrels affected or is it .20 and .22 as well ?
