I've took 6 of these of a high security building that I'm going to demolish next week
Along with the biggest camera I've ever seen
Can anybody enlighten me , just wondered if they could be ir lights , for the Cctv camera
And I thought that the small box could be the sensor
Any help please

Looks like an old IR lamp to me.
I can't make out on your pic if it's a photocell mounted in that box but it would make sense if it was.

Yes that's a photocell. There should be a simple pcb and transformer in the box.

Thanks moxy
So I'm going to mount one on the wall pointing down the garden , with the ir camera , should light the place up quite good
With the motion sensor on the camera , and see what's about
