Not good Matt its a beach stock and its to hard and not as peruse as walnut so the oil would not sink in to good

 

plus i want to stain it to fetch out the grain

 

and ITS MY RIFLE AND ILL DO IT MY WAY LOL

 

WELL FOR NOW IT IS UNTIL I HAND IT BACK TO SI AND HE PASSES IT ON TO DAVY

Sean(vizlauk) has just been to mine and is going to do the tune and polish some time this week or next week end

 

so a big thank you to him

 

the stock will be stain.d to day

First coat of stain on her just got to let her dry now

Just put her second coat on ill let her dry then a light going over with the 0000 wire wool then her first coat of oil will be going on her

Just put the first coat of oil on her but its sank strait in so can not tell the dif yet

 

i will let her dry then add another then you will see the shine and the grain come out

she is dry now but not dry enough to rub out the little runs with the wire wool ill do that tomorrow
