My RFD said CZs have 16mm dovetails and he doesn't know of any adjustable mounts that would go straight on. He thinks I would need to put a weaver rail on first, then the mounts onto that, which would obviously increase the height. Is that correct? Bonkers eh? In my experience nearly all Photons will make your rifle shoot low and your adjustment (y coordinate) on the scope runs out a -30. A dirty fix to this would be to put a shim between the tube and your rear mount. It will get the job done but I wouldn't advise this though as it will put stress on the tube of your Photon. I have used these in the past - http://opticswarehouse.co.uk/product/burris-signature-zee-weaver-30mm-scope-rings/ Not cheap, and you will require a picatinny rail, but they will correct the up/down and left/right issues. On the minus side they are permanent and cannot be swapped from rifle to rifle without re-zeroing. I have a 527 also. I have a pictanniny rail fitted because I swap scopes on it. I use Leupold QRW rings on the Photon I have enough adjustment with it. I swap this Photon between my 527 (17 Hornet) and my .223. Let me know if you need any other advice. P.S. I think I'll have to put it on and see if it has enough adjustment as is, then get a set of adjustable mounts id required.
