Venison, Red Wine And Stilton...

What do you lads think to this combo?

 

I recently did rabbit, cider and Stilton and it was fantastic. Really nice. Got the idea from Jok and the Stilton made the dish. Without a doubt.

 

Would it go as nice with red meat and red wine do you think?

 

Obviously it would have the usual parsley, garlic, bacon, red onion and seasonal veggies.

Right son. Been with Gaz for a dinner time drink and he agrees that a get together is on the cards. I imagine rabbits will be the main theme followed by dinner at my place. Morning rabbiting and then the pub. Home. Soon good?

venison burgers grilled on both sides then cut like a pitta bread stuffed with stilton and put back in till the cheese melts served with stir fried peppers and mushrooms in a sweet chile sauce mmmmmm lovely :thumbs:
