Calibre Question Well And Truly Tested By .177.

Recommended Posts

Well i`ve been browsing through old Air Gun World mag`s with all this rainy weather and read an article called "Neal To The Master" on page 9, June 2014. The paragraph is about two lads shooting the HW 100 and the Air Arms S410, both rifles in .177 cal.

Apparently these lads shot 153 wood pigeon in 2013 and 143 wood pigeon in 2014 same field, same rifles/ calibre. All evidenced with a photograph  .Not one flier all instant despatch.

In June of this year i shot 20 wood pigeons and a large Corvid with an Air Arms TX hc .177, all instant despatch.

Just some food for thought lads.

Not just a yank but most .177 shooters

Moxy- I don't think half the boys on here have a rifle long enough to buy a supply of pellets for it. Especially Mac. Think he has 10 tins of test pellets. Finds which the gun likes shooting and then

Mark , it has nothing about the cal you shoot ,as i shoot both of the two most popular cal , none are more accurate than the other and that could include .20 .25 as well   As for .22 lads get a bit

Each resulting bag, i should add, was from single decoying sessions.

:good:

just because they got that many is because the birds happend to be there and lads had done their homework as nothing to do with the cal
