I got this message today from his wife. 11 December 07:39 hi dave its tonya just to let you no andy was jumped by two blokes at edmundbyre on tuesday, hit over the head and left for dead in a field in the middle of no where, it took the villagers two and a half hours to find him and he needed to be airlifted to carlisle infermary, ive got him home now but he has a broken collarbone in 4 places and a broken upper right arm and a bash to his head. titch was so stressed she has lost her bark and is shaking like a leaf as the farmwer had to look after her and the ferrets on tuesday till i could organise a rescue to get the car,dog and ferrets back. they also stole andys cash and his binoculars that i had bought him for his birthday on tuesday He is home now, and seems on the mend Edited We are having a whip round for Andy and his family to replace what was stolen and to help him get back on his feet whilst he recovers over Christmas.
