Nite Time Setting With Dog ,

well summer comes and goes. i look about grey dark .spotting game for later on , so come end of sep abit moon but a good westerly warm and dry perfect for rabbits as they hate sitting out on grass soak en, so making the best of it ,take mini a stalwart in the whin camp , good all round dog ,

 

we drive, park a good bit from feilds, i tie her to my belt we go to gate opening and work back two fifty yarders , first time Ive netted with her at nite and first time we have netted this area ,

 

check net, jump over gate, walk about 2 hundred meters out , put my small torch on , see rabbits every were , groups of twos and threes some go to left some to [bANNED TEXT] shee gets two then as we get closer , i make a bit niose twanging the fence then we are over fence 11 rabbits whey hey , i kneck them and quickly walk the rough along net another two jump in,

 

i take rabbits out , pick net up next set same two fifty yarders smaller feild but blind set again , near railway , we walk round chase rabbits in , get six a good haul ,

 

we do it a few more times over the autum getting between 8 and a dozen good clean rabbits,a handy bit , , and good clean rabbits there several feilds simliar but some have sheep some the grass is short and they never sit out long ,

 

hope some of youse get out at nite as you cant beat it whatever the qaurry is
