The new photon 6.5x is an excellent piece of kit. Been using one over the past month on the rimfire and really impressed. Certainly not limited to rimfire use either......

Been playing with a thermal monocular for spotting too, as a combination (thermal for spotting, NV for shooting) it makes controlling vermin a formality! But that's another story.....

Bill for your budget as mentioned , I'd probably go with an Photon XT 6.5 mate.

are you still selling them Ian?

Got some more in as of tomorrow Ant

as I'm now a farmer, and have no money/ prices are shit/ dogs broke etc etc

Could you put a kit together? Photon+doubler+T whatever IR? And what would it come to ££££ wise? ;)

Alright Ant the new Yukon Photon XT 6.5 models incorporate a lock ring in the front objective to prevent people screwing in doubler lens, and removing the lockring will void any warranty. If you want an IR torch, I'd look at something along the lines of the T20/T38, pick one up on ebay for £20-£30 .
