Well at least we have sloes which with the horesradish makes our life a litlle better that yours. Nice filet beef steak with horseradish and a glass or two of sloe gin. joking apart, we have had a great season with the fruit. Lot of the lads going for it now that they've been mentored. Wish I could be back there again. One of the the most memorable trips on the bike.

The two people I know who have made their own horseradish sauce always grate it outside on a breezy day: to carry the lethal stink away as quickly as possible.

It's only taken you 20 years to try to find a better way?   You must be semi-immune to it by now. Try rubbing grated horseradish directly into your eye every day for a week before you make another batch to build up your immunity.

Hope this helps.  :D

Walshie. Have enjoyed a lot of your posts and that one was ok. However. I'd rather let a school of jelly fish loose behind my eyelids.
