suffolk,devon.lake district,scotland,wales,met some great people and had a few adventures.

Nice one i bet its good from time to time to reflect on your experiences and memories from the time out in that period. :thumbs:

Show me a picture of the stove inside the tent mate ild like to see it

I never took any pics inside the tent,it was a swedish army stove.See post below,found photograph of one virtually identical

It does because it helps to bring the grief i was experiencing into some sort of perspective,as much as that is possible

How heavy is your stove woodman? I have often thought about getting a rig similar to yours tpee and stove for when camping close to the vehicle. At the moment im on a minimilist set up as i usually go backpacking on the fells but it would be nice to have a bit of luxury when i can.

Can you stoke it right up then shut it down and it will still be going in the morning?

For that you will need hardwood oak,ash etc,etc,it has a butterfly damper on the door.whether it is still alight in the morning depends mostly on how windy it is.
