Mate i bought the full length Jim Shokeye Primos (the tri-pod).

You seem to be buying the (bi-pod) and not the Jim Shokeye.

Never gave that a thought mate as i don`t shoot at night normally but yes the Shokeye Primos tripod would surely "work a treat" for night time shooters.

I've got on it what came with it. A bog standard Nikko Stirling 3-9x40, and shooting Diabolo field out of it. Does what it's meant to do

Yes mate ditto to the AA Fields Diablo, - don`t `alf hit hard don`t they and hellishly accurate too.
