Do they live on that pond all year round ?

If so, when you clean them and the flesh looks and smells alright then cooking should make it alright. If it's stagnant water they might taste muddy.

But, like most places there's a good chance those ducks have come from elsewhere and if that place was 100% is in the lap of the Gods.

But I do know where you're coming from. There's a mine about 10 miles from me that has a lake beside it. The ducks off it have a green flesh. But you'll see that before sticking it in the oven.

Ya daft bugger. What on earth are you thinking about? :hmm: It's a bit like saying is salmon from the Thames as good as from the Tweed. Water is water and ducks fly and feed where ever they fly and feed. How the heck can you discriminate and as for green flesh, someone is having a giraffe.LOL
