Couldn't have been happier, sat on the bank giving her a drink and cleaning the chalk dust from her eyes,she put in a real professional effort. She sorted a very educated foe, from a place that regularly gives me problems most years. I'm happy anyway and that's all that counts.

Two rough digs yday, 6 footer and then a seven footer, lots of stone and slate,last one was over 3 hrs.
Easy little 2/3 footer today to keep gamekeeper happy.
Off tmw then full day Tuesday.

Well we are going proper now, lots of game about. Terriers are fit and working well. Couple of young guns are showing well, time and work is catching up with some of the older guys, great to see young blood coming good but sad to see those old uns with time catching em up. " guess its the same for us" !!!!
