Sunderland Afc 2015-16 Season

Recommended Posts

If the squad stays as it is I think we will have a well drilled squad / team that will finish well safe

Lens going to be a big player as will Kaboul

Giaccarini IMO a wasted talent for us

Hopefully he gets a fair Craic

Cattermole as usual will be our leader

Should be our Captain IMO

If graham gets a early goal or two he could end up a 10 goal man his season

Apparently he's been grafting his socks off in the gym

Rodwell needs to step up

Larson needs another good season

Defoe needs to bag 10-15

Well do ok and shock some of the big guns along the way

IF

IF we could sign another Proven Goalscorer and a Dembelle I think we could finish 10-12th

Dick won't get sacked

He might walk if not given any funds promised ?

Safc need to offload

Fletcher and Buckley for def and probably Bridcutt if they can recoup there money although I think the lad gets unfair stick

O Shea and brown were much much worse last season than him.

I'd also sell Gomez' can pick a great pass but far to slow.

I don't see a relegation battle but it's the prem so who knows.

Ask any random person outside of Sunderland who they think is the biggest football club in the north east and almost all of them will say Newcastle!

Non football people would not even think of Sunderland.......most people who do know football wouldn't either.

Now wait for it............lol

That's because of Journalism Wilf and the Power of TV

Newcastle being the biggest city in the North East gets all the airtime

So folk are naturally drawn to favour everything Geordie

But those who live in this area know different re football

As I say re fans it's Safc

Re the actual city there is more going on in Newcastle because of investment over the last 40 - 50 years although Sunderland Council are now starting to get their finger out' plus Newcastle ain't got a beach :)

Roker- Seaburn - Whitburn is tremendous .

Re football they much of a muchness

It's all about the support at Safc

Less expectant

Not as blinkered

Different Gravy :)

Newcastle biggest club in North East there's no valid arguement there to be fair like it or not 👍 bigger city bigger club bigger fan base in modern era in fact in any era always bin te same nufc safe then the boro never likely too change I'd say over last twenty year on paper boro done more than either of others more cup finals euro final etc (we lost em all I know lol) but it don't make us bigger or better facts are facts

Think a lot of the passions gone out the game in North East to be honest bit like the national game as I e said before my lad n his pals more likely too go see local torn club play than either of North East big three , know few see lads prefer the local town clubs now too big clubs games changed not for better unless you support top name clubs lol tne test their as talent pools n filler

We could sit here trying to convince people West Ham are a bigger club than Arsenal till the cows come home.....................some things just are what they are !

Things can only get better :)

Every cloud and all that ' if nothing else I bet Advocaat is saying to short more funds please for a quality signing or 3 before the transfer deadline.

Another defender

Creative midfielder come Striker

Plus another striker.

Evans / Van Djirk

Januzzai

Mousa Sow

Those will do :)
