Good recipe for starling anyone?

Recommended Posts

I don't know if this is right, but I've been told that starlings taste so bad/bitter?(Tyla mentioned the skin) that even a fox won't eat a dead one if it finds one on the ground. Might be an "old wifes tail", but it's what I've always believed.

But, if someone really must go wiping out a rapidly declining species? Just as well they get some use out of the results.

Are they really declining there? Since they were introduced here, they're taking over and can be shot anytime, as many as is possible. Our Div of Wildlife encourages doing away with them all on sight....... :gunsmilie:

Google : 'passenger pigeon'

Odly enough, since the grey squirel was introduced here those little critters have taken over too......kill 'em all! Taste great in spiced and chilli bread crumbs.......beats KFC any day, mind you kentucky fried pigeon is pretty good too!
