Does a goldie mule sing better than s full goldie ? Is this why there muled ? Or is it for looks ? Some mules sure are pretty

think there muled for the challenge, the colour of a mule makes a big difference,to a lot of folk,i like to see a nice goldie to be honest.

Depends on the bird,my old goldie cock was a poor singer and i got a cd to play to the young uns,but the goldie cock i have now is louder, sings harder and better than any of my mules do,the thing with a mule is they will sing all year round but a native cock really only sings during the breeding season hence why folk breed them so they can have a singing bird all year round but as for a challenge there the easiest of birds to breed or at least they have been for me

I agree fireman they are fairly easy to produce, was thinking more of a challenge to breed them colour wise ,to get the rarer colours or near whites ect.if that makes sence
