lapwings nest I found this evening

Yeah that's her mate I thought when I looked it up the eggs to the bunting was different wired the bunting always sits right near the nest while the warbler sits on it .

Any clues to why this is . I don't know anything about this kind of thing

Yeah they are wrong from looking at the eggs on Google . while the reed or sedge warbler is on the nest the male reed bunting sits on a reed just above the nest he's always there that's why I had a little look . I've been watching skylarks too but I can't see them .

what does the bird look like sitting on the nest ?.....any white eye stripe ?

From looking on google its definatly a reed warbler .

I'll bear that in mind tonight jd when I'm out on a walk see what else I can find. Cheers for advice and help .

The nest isnt right for a reed warbler IMO
