I had chance to have a play with a gas ram Lightning and I reckoned it was a little smoother. The recoil was sharper, which took a handful of shots to get used, and it was slightly quieter too.

Didn't have it long enough to decide whether it shot any better :P (Translate that to 'improve my piss poor shooting' )

I would like to know how you get on with the Gas ram in the lightning.....is it a theaben(spelling) gas ram?? Did you fit it youself!!
I was seriously considering getting a gas ram put in!! I think the lightning is one of the quietest springers around....

I find the lightning a superb gun for the price and a really handy size too...
