just bought this knief of griff a fantastic bit of kit and well made,more than happy and worth every penny

I had the wolf paw one and it's the pride of my collection now, same sentiments as you.

 

Thank Rabid, also a top bloke and spot on to deal with. The wolf paw was the first carved one i ever did and the wild boar the second so you have a piece of history there. :thumbs:

Thanks Guys, Glad you like them.   Heres the latest made it today. It's a Opinel No 12. Carved a wolf paw on the end of the handle.              

Thanks again for the feedback, hope i didn't bore you with too much detail. Job now complete, couple of pics with stove fitted and first fire, works a treat and much more efficient/ controllable than

Latest couple of antler tine Opinels i have put 0.4mm self lubricating phosphor bronze liners in the pivot end. The standard method is good but these are even better. Smooth action and no play, harder wearing surface so should maintain the performance for years. Antler tips compliments of Sussex.
