Youtube :doh:!!!!!!!! My boy has been watching some guy cut big bits of wood into small bits and gluing them back together again. Anyway after rummaging in my scrap wood pile he has made these two chopping boards.

 

Firs one Oak and Mahogany.

nice chopping broads they look to good to use, well done to your lad. it good to see youngons doing stuff other than playing games consols.

Definitely prefer him in the shed than in-front of a box. Like you say they are a bit nice to hack up but a good use of off-cuts. At the moment they are taking pride of place on the breakfast-bar but that second one is doing my head in! Try tracing the center block with your eyes corner to corner, side to side. :blink:

Ps anyone got a cheap stirrup pump surplus to requirement? needing work is fine. Require one for a little project :whistling:
