Rabid 1,936
I have just got a second n550, this one is for slightly longer ranges as first was for ratting. It has come with a doubler, what difference do they make ? Closer and further ranges ? Also I am looking for extra illumination, been told the standard pulsar 940 is shite, would t20 be the way forward ? Also, it comes with a ep5 battery pack, how good are these, what sort of hours should I be getting from it, and would you dump the aa batteries in the scope when using the external pack ? Cheers, Rob. Edited December 19, 2014 by Rabid
Rabid 1,936
Thanks for the replies......I have managed to answer a couple of my own questions, so thought I would share, the external battery gives over 15 hours use (so far) I ditched the aa's for this test and glad I did. The t20 seems to give a much crisper image than the pulsar 940, and the ranges are much improved. Still working out the benefits of the doubler
ghillies 209
doublers cut a bit of light transmision (because the extra lenses), but, where stuff was too far to see, i.e. too small to physically see, you can now. best way with anything is use it and see, because all said and done, your eye aint the same as mine.
