M.8 nuts are for 8mm threaded bar, m10's for 10mm bar, it's the diameter of the centre of the nut, and not the nut head size

The number is the thread size. So an m 8 takes an 8mm screw

Most people go for the smaller size which is M-8.  The larger are M10 I believe.


No the larger ones are M 8 now and the smaller M6

quick update on my previous quote for 9.5mm steel balls .

i ordered a large quantity and they worked out at about £14 for 1000,

thats cheaper than airgun ammo.

i know that 9.5mm is not for everyone but for those who are i think this is a good price.

M 8 are 13mm diameter

m6 is 10mm across flats

M 8 is 13mm

m10 is 17mm

m12 is 19mm
