Grease Is The Word.......or Not!

Recommended Posts

Morning,

Stripped my Logun S16 last night to source a tiny air leak and replace the seal. This is done and now I'm on the way back to reassembly. I've got a small tub of Abbey LT2 Gun Grease (molybdenum disulphide based), which came with the rifle, just want to know is it suitable for lubing the seals before putting everything back together or would it damage them? If so what should I use instead, any advice would be much appreciated

Moly is fine for metal surfaces, because it bonds to them. Not sure about seals... Pelgun Oil maybe? :hmm:
