Recommended Posts

hi,

you will get more than 30-40 shots in .22, you should be getting 50-60, I have got the ultra se in .177 and I get 40, they are a really light gun to carry around and really accurate, just the way I like it, hope this helps,

thanks tl

About forty usable on mine in .177. Use it in buildings mainly. Its best day was twenty three woodies on brassicas last spring. Perfect for hide work. A Swift Stumpy keeps it short and balanced, and quiet.

Very accurate as well, power can be an issue as they get older it seems. Change the seals and probe washer regularly, drill out the anti tamper and keep it around 11lb.

Actually a nice little carbine, its saving grace is, like all the BSA stable, is the flush fitting magazine allows close mounting of sights. I just put a spare older BSA 3.9 x 40 on this one and it is accurate for me to sixty yards.

Aye, better than a Daystate :boogy:
