mattybugeye 884
Got it stripped down the problem seemed to be the piston had jammed in the cylinder the piston washer was holding it fully cocked !! The washer is kaput and on the lookout for a replacement any suggestions? Is there a uprated washer available? The hardest part was getting the piston out was seized solid but seems complete so that's a bonus. 1 Quote Link to post

tomburras 2,721
Looks great matt and after a test shot it is very nice to shoot too! I'd keep the stock origional with its small Dink's in it they add charectar! Nice gun can't beat an old BSA. Brought back some memories seeing that! Just a shame bout your little misshap LOL!. mattybugeye 884
Sorry for delay been in shed since buying this right couldn't get the uprated pistin washer I was after so I opted for a synthetic buffer cleaned up the existing full piston washer and a new o ring . Well I was in shed at 6 am just come out now think it was worth it though .... they not in order but forgive me lol I've omed out the cylinder de bured and shined the piston buffed the piston washer fit new o ring obviously prepped and blued action not 100% happy blueing bit thin so may re do. Stripped trigger group polished on buffer all contacts re build ( was a fiddly fcuker) and re built this a quick turn around I know the wife not happy bit i am I re greased as I went and the chrono showed ...........
