In a nice way Atb lads dave Here is why you are wrong VM is just one of a long line of posters who often really have nothing to say, but vomit it up anyway. I've made a number of points in a number of threads here and he started emerging as a common theme with that classic forum approach of commenting on what people dont say, rather than what they do. Mediocre to say the least. I'm all for banter, but at times its just boring and at times people are trying to have a sensible conversation so its just derailing. If you mean red text in an earlier post, that's simply because I hit the wrong quote button and my responses plus the original comments I was quoting (doh!) became fused, so I just colour coded it so it was easier to see the responses. I joined as I found the help and advice on hear to be relevant and it seemed like people had a bit of a sense of humour which I like. What I don't understand though, is if this isn't for you then why stay? Why post? I used to be an admin on a forum (not air rifle related) and it started to get that I wasn't enjoying the forum anymore so I left. No-one makes you join a forum and no-one can make you stay. If someone says something that you don't like (remember, that things written can be misconstrued at times) then PM the member and try and clear things up. In so doing, I would have apologised and explained as I have done above, if you care to read it. Why let a minority of people dictate and bully the conversation? Who said it isnt for them? Not me. Its frustrating, but nothing else. Look, this conversation has come to an end, which is a real shame. As I have said before there are some really clever and experienced people here. But there are some that just like the sound of their own voice and feel they need to dominate all the conversations here. That's not appropriate. When I first came here I made a few posts and some usual suspects kept cropping up and having the odd pop (and then hide behind the claim of 'banter'). I ignored it for a while but its not on really, not when it keeps happening. We can all disagree cordially. A discussion forum is for discussion.
