Not doing very well is it... quite a few 1penny bids, what's that all about ffs?

I used to repair/renovate and build rods for a tackle shop "Kens of Lewisham", back in the 80's, and selected this one for renovation for myself... cost was £34. It got about 9-10 hours of work over the course of about a week. Including stripping, steaming, splitting the top section, re steaming and weighted straight. Re-ringed and whipped then varnished. A lot of what you pick up nowadays would involve too much work, but this had good potential and has turned out well.

I thought it would rake in a good few quid towards Dymented's fund against the RSPCA.

Looks like I will be keeping it then...

I bid £50

Im out you will be relieved to hear... tis a nice looking rod tho

CG, you said you were out, then the bidding stagnated. My £50 is a 'bid', and if it gets topped then it will then become a donation, I am happy either way. It all goes into the pot.
