Artex has more than enough key for plasterer to take to the gritty glue stuff is mostly used for old finished plaster where there's not much of a key

I,m gradually coming to the end of my plastering life, joints full of cortisone, back having regular epidural,s , etc etc, but I can't believe that a load of so called spreads are recommending putting browning over artex, I have not used browning or bonding for around ten years, they are both rubbish in comparison to hardwall, a tight coat over artex, know need for uni bond and skim straight away, have never had one blow off, but have had an odd one with uni bond and skim, and bonding, I find that bonding plaster now has so much retarder in it that your lucky if you can skim it the same day, were as the hardwall is usually ready to skim after a cup of tea,

Bloody plastering, I been renovating my house for the last year, all lathe and plaster, all lime, I fricking hate plastering now.

I would never use bonding over artex, use hardball, much better job and quicker

Hardwall should not be used on artex at all . Hardwall is for high suction. Bonding is for low suction . No need for bonding though either even on the thickest or artex just a quick run over with a floor scraper then 2 good coats of multi

I have achallenging permission in North Essex near Sudbury . The owner wants rabbits cleared off it and I don't have the time to have a serious crack at it due to other commitments. I've tried live catch cage traps to no avail. Are there any snare/trap men or serious shootists that want a go? The owner will pay for good results.

If any youngster, newcomer to ferreting would like to come out and join me and my team of pugs, lurchers in the field for hands on experience then pm me telling me a bit about yourself, as we all know permission is hard to get, especially for those just getting into our kind of pest control, bring your own pugs if you like. As above this is for folk starting ferreting in my area, atb j
