I would imagine if theres a good squirt of blood it might not be that far away,have you looked under the bank in the river they don't need much of a space to fall into to be out of sight,wf

Yes mate ,first place i looked .Not much of a stream and slow moving .Not so much as a muddy hoof print .Buggers just vanished .Back there today with a few more lads .Hate getting beat .Carcass wont be any good but its satisfaction im after now and to find the entry ,exit wounds plus hes bordering on a medal for certain .

if it has rolled down and into the stream there wont be any hoof marks,the same happened to me last week my mate walked right over the top of it,good luck anyway,wf

Bluebells everywhere here mate ,Any rolling scuffing or footprint stands out a mile but nothing .We looked again yesterday morning with the neighbouring farmer involved too although a bit strained .Hes a bit off with whats occured as i found out he likes to see the deer his side.Nothing .Now put down as a bad job and moved on .
