How does anyone rate BSA scopes ? Was looking at 3-9x50 essentials to fit to my lightning se grt

Not the best better going for a hawke

The cheap nikko stirling aren't very good either

Have to disagree with the comments on the BSA scopes, I had the 4-12x44 essential and I'd rate it against any of the Hawke scopes in the same range. The depth of field of view surprised a lot of people when they looked through it. Build quality was excellent and the only reason I changed was because my wife treated me to a viper.

BSA are ok, obviously the cheaper ones are like any other brand. Nikko Stirling too but the better scopes are well worth a try.

Never tried hawke but I hear they're all the rage.

Made a decision im ordering hawke sport HD 3-9x40's from Uttings today

Very happy with scope.only down side magnification ring adjuster a little stiff.other than that a good quality scope

i have been using exactly same scope for a few months its a cracker mate
