That's a shame mate, mines only grabbed the arse end of a couple but never stopped one. I rarely bump into them.

out again later today over the east to fly on the hares, hope to secure on this time

if she succeeds then I shall be feeding her and ending my season there 

she caught a nice buck rabbit yesterday with ease, the first slip she had, saw a few hares but could get anywhere near them

fingers crossed for laters

no such luck, had trouble keeping the bird on the fist, she had a couple of flight but none brought to bag, it was real windy out there yesterday

Hawking for game is beautiful to watch. But so is experiencing lurchers in chase. The ban is ridiculous. We all need to stand together.
