I used to use 3" magnum 36g No.3 steel and found them plenty for my ground

hi riggers i use heavy shot for geese mate kills better than steel and other none toxic cartridges i know they cost the earth but its worth it. also most of my goose shooting is done on the foreshore and mainly at pinks so they are worth it good look

Hello you should have had some info in with the call if not maybe try BASC as they do course's & would help & open your eye's to it.Heavyshot is good advice especially on high geese & i would use No.2-1 & BB's for high bird's.If decoying or know they will be quite close then i work 36g No.3's.Lead depend's on person & hight/speed/distance of target.
