End pins 8
It's that time of year, my Marshals catalouge landed on my mat this morning. Had a quick flick through it and noticed there had been some quite big price increases from last year. I used to grow a parsnip by the name of Avonresister and have not be able to get any seeds for the last few years, the parsnip is a short rooted variety, with high canker resistance, that does well on shallower soils. I tried a google search for it but none of the bigger firms sell it. I found a link to an allotment forum where I found a thread where someone was trying to source the seeds and a firm called Wallis seeds was mentioned. I found the site and boy are they cheap at least a pound sometimes more, than in the Marshalls catalouge for the same amount of seeds. They even do small packets some as cheap as 40p for 400 seeds of beetroot. http://www.wallis-seeds.co.uk/about-wallis-seeds.php
