Les, if you want to see 'wild' geese as opposed to tame, give me a shout next time you fancy a pop, I am coming back from my Christmas haunt today and I have had 5 pinks and 1 teal in a fortnight, now I wasnt out all the time, BUT you would not have grabbed them by the legs!!!

its rumoured les tried to grab a goose by the leg and it took off taking les with it and he has nt been seen since

The other side of the coin is if they were so easy why were 20-30 shot and not just a brace each .If a low pheasant leaves a drive its left so why not decoyed geese.Any shooting is as testing as you make it

i lost a very good wildfowler friend at xmas who took me to scotland he was the man he set the decoys brill first day then he took poorly and i came home with him he was my old pal and told me not too do this sh--  but u no me .i miss him taking his words of wisdem no more goose pics from me
