Agree with Dave 100% , also I'm not fond of adding another distraction to the dogs mind which will happen after it's served a few bitches,

if you work the dog with a group of other hunters with their dogs there's almost always a bitch coming in or just gone out of heat and the dog can become a real pain in the ass , I like a dog to be as focused as he can during his working life

agree with casso -koda served a mates bitch & it has changed him completely sniffs every bit of piss he can -ignores my voice [not whistle] or if I change to growl tone lol but on a whole if any bitch on the shoots has ANY signs of "heat" the day is ruined! mind you owners should know when NOT to bring there bloody bitches if in or coming in to season
