Here's Part 2 guys...... Enjoy!!     Darryl

New from GeordiehuntersTV Part one of the 97KT strip & tune Darryl

Darryl, this is an excellent set of videos.   I am sure you have achieved your aim of showing " what can be done with "basic tools" to make a great rifle better" Everything is clearly explained a

Thanks for the videos Darryl, after watching them I'd feel confident in stripping and working on my own HW77K. Other than piston buttoning I wonder what else goes into a professional tune?

Good stuff mate!

Not sure about other "tuners" but I imagine they will all have their own trait.

I'll continue to do what works for me though and I think the chrono test proves it works

Nice three vids mate . Just shows you do not need to spend £ 100s on a tune , very well done :clapper:

its not a tune! its fettling :tongue2:

Call it what you want but definition of a tune is to make fine adjustments to (an engine, machine, etc) to obtain optimum performance if you want to play on words :tongue2: and even Darryl called it his tune

it is fettling end of,fine adjustments is right,re-greasing,de-buring,polishing is home DIY fettling.

there is no lathe work involved in Darryl's tune, which all the professional tuners do,hence it costing ££££'s

what darryl has shown is his way of fettling,i may stand corrected "but i doubt it" this is no where near as much work that a professional would put in to a tune, and it wont shoot as sweet.or i will eat my hat :hmm:

speaking from experience and seen with my own eyes what goes in to a professional tune

those who know how to love to fettle

No lathe work involved as I don't own a lathe :p

I'd bet that this one would shoot just as sweet as a "tuned" one ;)

Ok, so while were on the subject, what constitutes a tune??

Is it called a tune simply because it's done by sorme well known people

I know some make their own piston seals hence the lathe work etc but it's as I said in the video, it's the way I do things, it works and happy with the results.

It would be interesting to see one of "my rifles" up against others from other well known industry guys just to see how well it does.
