If you don't know exactly what you are doing overheating and exploding is the outcome. I once tried to attach a DeWalt cordless drill battery to my gun lamp and as soon as I turned it on, boom went the lamp and that had the exact same specs as the batteries it came with. The prolem was the battery set up (series/parallel) overloaded and fried the electronics in the lamp (LED) Quote Link to post

I am using a lightforce 170 and the batterys last 2 hours max that's with 2 batterys 7 amp. Hopefully have a li ion soon Quote Link to post
